Grape Leaves

Many different civilizations employ grape leaves, which are the leaves of the grapevine plant. Most frequently, they are plucked straight off the vine, stuffed with a mixture of rice, meat, and spices, and then boiled or steamed to cook. Both an appetiser and a major dish can be prepared with stuffed grape leaves.
